But here is what I tell you. Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you. Then you will be children of your Father who is in heaven. He causes his sun to shine on evil people and good people. It's easy to love the people who love and support us. But God says that we must love our enemies and even pray for them. This is a challenge. If we want to be like him, then we must do what he did. Let's accept the challenge and do better today than we did yesterday. Our ultimate goal is to be a representative of Jesus here on earth.
