So again, the Pharisees asked him how he received his sight.“He put mud on my eyes,” he told them. “I washed, and I can see.” John 9:15
Nobody likes to get stuck in the mud. It's messy, smelly, and dirty. Jesus used mud to perform a miracle. Jesus placed mud on the eyes of a blind man. The blind man was instructed to wash, and he received his sight. Sometimes, when our circumstances seem messy and dirty, Jesus does his best work. Wash in his word day and night and watch how Jesus will perform a miracle right before our eyes.
