Give a lot of time and effort to prayer. Always be watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2 NIRV When we put a lot of time and effort into something, we are devoted to it. The Bible says that we are to be devoted to prayer, and when we are, we will be watchful and thankful. When we are joined to Christ, we should be genuinely committed and devoted to him alone. Are you devoted to Jesus, or do other things have your heart?

If you really want to become wise, you must begin by having respect for the Lord. Psalms 111:10 NIRV We live in a society where people have lost respect. There is no respect for the elderly, adults, or even the law. The Bible says that if you want to be wise, then you must (not maybe) start by having respect for the Lord and what he represents. We have to love what he loves and hate what he hates.

God is our place of safety. He gives us strength. He is always there to help us in times of trouble. Psalms 46:1 NIRV We fasten our seatbelts as a precaution for our safety. The Bible says that God is our place of safety. If we remain in Him and he remains in us, there is no need to worry or be afraid. The safest place to be is under the blood. Psalms 91 says that there is safety under the shadow of his wings.
